Jemba Rock Bed and Breakfast
When the owners of Jemba Rock Bed and Breakfast wanted a fresh new look for their logo and corporate stationery, they didn’t have to leave their home.
Owner Robyn Hobbs said while there was no face to face contact, Snap Printing Norwest owner, Peter Spencer and designer Simone Krause seemed to know exactly what she wanted.
“We are located in a small town in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains which meant that the entire process was done by phone or email,” Robyn says.
“Our old logo was around five years old and not quite what I wanted so I was able to speak to Peter and Simone and they seemed to have a good idea of where we wanted to go,”
“The experience was stress free and we are really happy with the result.”
Designer Simone Krause agrees the process was relatively simple and is happy with the final look and feel achieved.
“The clients wanted to communicate that it was a new, boutique bed and breakfast and that it was a family run business,” Simone says.
“Jemba Rock’s location is really picturesque and the inspiration behind the logo was an olive watercolour image of a quaint house on the side of rolling hills.”
While happy with the professional service and price, Robyn initially chose Snap Printing because she had met the owner years before, when he was a work-experience student.
“I had him do all my photocopying,” Robyn says. “Now he owns his own printing and copying business!”
